Booked a room with hotels.com
Called to get info on upgrade to the towers since there wasn’t an option online. Front desk reassured us that they will do upgrade to the room we wanted when we arrived but turns out it wasn’t available. Ended up having to do new reservation due to some issue they had with matching our card on file! After setting up new reservation and paying for the room AGAIN it was around2:15AM and yes we were exhausted from our long day! When we got to our room we were disappointed because the room was outdated and not in great condition at all! Deadbolt was jiggling, the floor had not been washed in God knows how long! It was sticky, dirty, and had heavy traffic foot prints all over! Just absolutely disgusting. Definitely was worse in the morning soon as the lights came through the windows! The bedding was comfortable, sheets were clean, which was the only positive about the room. The bathroom shower was very outdated with ugly yellow 80s looking tiles and the tub was super shallow making it hard to relax! Spotted what looked like black mold above bathroom door! The room in general gave off the Ghetto motel vibes, definitely not the same quality compared to my last stay a few years back! The fan unit was only blowing heat no matter what you set the temp to which led to a sleepless night of tossing and turning waking up to being soaked in sweat!!!
Really outdated furniture and ghetto popcorn ceilings! All in all very poor experience! Breakfast was OK at best
