This establishment was a great value, even with parking and taxes, coming in at under $180/night. Even though the room had minor issues, it was clean and the A/C worked. I understand the goal is to stay booked and maintenance has to work around bookings, so minor things dont bother me.
The staff, on the other hand, is a whole different story. It was a mixed bag. We arrived an hour early and asked if we would be able to check in. We were not, and that was perfectly fine, because staff allowed us to use the lobby restroom after a long trip.
When we checked in, the staff acted like we were bothering them and were unprofessional in their language and demeanor.
I went down later that evening to ask for some salt and a paper plate so my little girl could eat some fruit we had brought with us. The individual who checked us in acted like I was a begger, not a paying guest. However, another staff member helped me and was gracious in her dealings with me.
I went to the lobby, on the morning of our checkout, to get some coffee and ask for printed receipt to show there was no additional charges. I was told I could be printed a blank piece of paper. This was after I had to wait for the individual to stop phone scrolling.
