I checked in ahead of time - eh uh was apparently a waste of time as I had to give the same info again on arrival (late in the evening).
Got to my room (Room 308) and settled in. I was very tired. But soon after I laid down (bed was harder than even I usually like), I saw movement… it was a bedbug! I jumped up, tossed the bug in the water cup, got dressed, gathered my stuff and went to the front desk.
He put me in another room (Room 208) that inspected with a black light before settling in. But by then, the creeps had taken hold and I got very little sleep.
This second room seemed cleaner (and didn’t have the stale, almost sick odor that the first room had, but I found that the clear water cups in this room- two had been opened and then put back in the plastic - certainly not sanitary.
Really pretty disappointed in this experience. I won’t be staying at Comfort Inn & Suites again.
