One night stay
This was an overnight stay on my way home from New Jersey. The room was small, but comfortable. I was having trouble with my Doordash app, the desk clerk was kind enough to let me order from his phone, and brought the order to me. Breakfast was ok. As i was leaving the hotel, I noticed the view of the mountains, breathtaking! I would return for the convenience.

The one great thing is that the room was extremely clean. But we couldn’t believe how sad and dark and small it was. The only light in the bathroom was like a make up mirror light around the mirror, which was not nearly enough. There was no foyer light, and in the main room just two little lights above the beds and one little floor lamp, which did not light up the room enough. And there were blackout curtains but no sheers so we couldn’t let light in from the windows if we wanted privacy on our first floor hotel. There was also an exposed area in the outlet. Also, there’s no dresser. But A+ for housekeeping due to cleanliness and a great amount of washcloths and hand towels. Oh and breakfast was so-so. Eggs, no bacon, sad looking sausage circles.

We stayed overnight here to break up our travel going home to Pa. We had a comfortable King room that was spacious. Downtown Staunton is a great little town to visit closeby. We had a wonderful dinner at the Mill Street Grill, great food and service. We decided to do breakfast at Sweet Addie's Waffle Shop downtown as well so we could walk around before we left. Only real complaint we had was the lobby smelled strong of weed. I am sure some people might welcome that but that's is just as bad as smelling cigarette smoke. Front desk manager, Chase was very nice to talk to and helpful. Very easy off and on access to Rt 81
