The staff at this hotel is extremely rude and unprofessional. To begin with, they overcharged me $100, claiming it was a “security deposit.” They make you sign a voucher authorizing the charge, stating that once you check out and they verify no damages were done, the deposit is automatically refunded. However, this was not the case.
When I checked out, I had to argue with the front desk clerk just to get proof that the hotel would process the refund. After a heated exchange, she finally printed a vague receipt showing “amount due: $100” — with no mention of a refund or confirmation that it was being processed. It has now been over a week, and the hotel still hasn’t refunded my deposit.
On top of that, the hotel itself is horrible. There’s only one elevator for the entire building, and the breakfast food is awful — stale, low quality, and questionable in terms of sanitation. Even though breakfast was included in my stay, I only ate there once because it was so bad.
The rooms are in terrible condition. The bathrooms are gross, the walls are partially painted, and the carpets are filthy. This place is overpriced for what it is, and to make matters worse, they charge your card for the deposit instead of just placing a hold like any other decent hotel.
AVOID this hotel at all costs.
