Customer service at both check in and check out were outstanding. We had three rooms for six people. The rooms were clean.
Our room was very warm. We opened the window and had to use the oscillating fan to cool the room. There is no air conditioning or thermostat to control temperature. In the early evening of our first night, two members of our group were unable to get into their room. The keys (card) were unable to open door. My sister went down to lobby to get a new set of key; still did not work. We called downstairs and bellman came up to help. He, too, was unable to open the room. He tried again, this time shoving his shoulder into the door. It still did not open. He then said he would have to call a locksmith. My sister and her friend ended up waiting in our room. We received a call that it was going to take longer. I asked if they could be accommodated in another room; I was told there were no other rooms available. After 1.5 -2 hrs. Wait, my sister checked her room. The locksmiths made entry in their room through the window. They insinuated the my sister was at fault for breaking the door. She at no time touched the door, other than to try her key. To sum everything, the employees both at the desk and those in the room were very rude. I would not recommend this hotel. It has a great location, but not worth the inconvenience and rudeness we were put through.
