Our room was not consistent with the room that we booked and was apparently not fixable by either the hotel, or hotels.com. We tried, a lot, and finally successfully got a partial refund from hotels.com.
Because of this debacle, we had to take turns sleeping on a sofa bed that was the most uncomfortable sofa bed I have ever slept on and had to require bedding for the bed with four adult sized humans staying in the room. I have a shooting pain in my back that has been present since my first night at this hotel. I am not pleased that though they stated they had rooms available, the hotel could not (seriously?) or would not make the slightest accommodation for us to help ensure our comfort on our stay. They kept doubling down that they couldn’t do anything for us because it was hotels.com that sent them “the incorrect room booking.” I went from the hotel, to hotels.com service back to the hotel twice, then back to hotels.com before anything was done to even try to make up for it. Passing the buck back and forth and back and forth. Sadly, the hotel seems like it was fine, clean, and would have been a positive experience, but it was ruinous for our weekend in Indianapolis.
