Young person at the front desk was not very well trained in customer service at all! Everything in the room was totally outdated and wreaked of a bad mold smell, the tv was the only modern amenity in the room. The toilet quit flushing after first use, the water pressure to refill tank stopped, I actually had to remove the tank cover, lift and release the float to restart water refill, when I reported the problem at the front desk I was offered a plunger and told there was no plumber available.There was hard dried water lime adhesed all around the sink faucet handles, same issues with bathtub shower handle and shower head, GFI outlets were outdated and installed upside down. We were told there was no room cleaning service, if we needed clean towels we had to bring the dirty towels and washcloths downstairs to the front desk for clean towels, there were only 2 in the bathroom. Carpet and room office area for personal laptop use was terrible, chairs had some white sticky substance stains on them, sticky desks. The rooms' AC unit control didn't work it stayed on one temp and was very noisy through the night. We were offer to switch rooms but told they were about the same. They told me the building had been updated but didn't realized I'm a retired building contractor. The building and it's interior looked like a throwback from the 80's. We were between a rock and a hard place for a total refund and or booking another hotel as we arriver later than 3pm driving from 3 hours away.
