Let's not kid ourselves: this is not a luxury hotel, it's a relatively cheap place to stay and I chose it specifically because it had a kitchen and I was in town working for a few days.
Arrived to find no appliances or utilities at all in the kitchen but learned that you need to ask for them in reception. Staff was more than helpful with any requests.
The place is a bit run down to some degree, bed was very basic, other aspects too, and you will likely feel a whiff of weed now and then, but I slept well and put the kitchen to good use. It's cheap, it's not perfect, but staff truly make up for it. I got the feeling that some guests live there on a semi-permanent basis, even got some basic advise from neighbors.
Mostly black people. If you've got a problem with that...what the hell are you doing in Atlanta? ;)
