Clean, safe, and cute spot with a big breakfast buffet and cool retro vibe. The Aiden was perfect for our girls trip. Our only regret was not building in time during our trip to spend in the pool, since it closes at 10 pm. Parking is easy but the restaurant attached to the Aiden fills up and might have a waitlist, so don’t forget to make your lunch and dinner reservations so you don’t miss out like I did.

Good location and comfortable for a night
We checked in to find out we had an exterior 1st floor room which was fine, we dropped our bags off and headed out for the afternoon and evening. Returning to the room at 10pm, there was several cockroaches around the air con unit and under the bed. Maintenance inspected and we moved rooms upstairs and were upgraded to a suite. Unfortunately it’s cricket season and there was quite a few crickets in the room, including in our shoes but I feel we will be better prepared for this in future. I didn’t want to use the pool after maintenance said that’s where most of the crickets were but I am a wuss when it comes to bugs! The breakfast selection was good, but get there before 9am to make the most of it. Overall not a bad hotel with a good location to south congress and walk up into downtown Austin.

A little gem
This hotel was a little gem of a find, had a little 7/11 across the street, the breakfast was excellent, a bar attached that was really reasonable which you could pay in cash, was also a sushi restsurant. it was a rabbit warren though lots of rooms, one of the lifts we had to use always had a terrible smell in it. The pool area was lovely we had it to ourselves for most of the day, it also had a hot tub. The only downside was check in was 4pm we got there at 6pm and room still wasn't ready, they gave us a little welcome pack when we eventually got ín, and the guy in reception was very good.
