This "suite" should not have been rented. The "full kitchenette" had a giant hole in the counter where the stove was supposed to be. There were MISSING APPLIANCES, MISSING FIXTURES, EXPOSED WIRES, STANDING WATER and conditions that were not at all in keeping with what I prepaid for. (A King suite with kitchenette.) The place as so bad that I called the front desk to see if the room had been ROBBED. (Yes, the door was also open when we arrived - another major safety concern.)
I provided Expedia with six pictures to document the conditions and not only did they NOT issue a refund, but they continue to book this UNSAFE, INACCURATELY REPRESENTED property. Standing water and exposed wires are not a great combo!
Meanwhile, you, Expedia, the booking agency, CONTINUES TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY.
So, you know it's inaccurate, you know it's unsafe, but you will continue to promote it on your site, and there is nothing further you can do.
That's garbage.
If we had tried to use the kitchenette (with standing water in the sink, exposed wires in the hole in the counter where the stove was supposed to be) and had say, been injured or electrocuted? That would have been a liability issue for Extended Stay America. Now that you have been duly informed that there are safety issues, provided with details, and photographic evidence? Well, now if someone dies or is injured at this property, having booked with Expedia? You are equally liable and aware.
Shame on you.
