While the property is clean, there is work that can be done to finally upgrade these rooms. If you book a "balcony room" be aware that the constant noise from those above you opening and shutting the sliding balcony door sounds and reverberates down at a noise level that is quite jarring and disturbing. ALSO, regardless if you are a Hilton member or not, I used to be able to request a late checkout up to 2PM (needed as i have elderly family visiting and need the additional time) and now that latest the give you and call it "complimentary" is 12PM, otherwise they bill you $50 per additional hour (completely a cash grab) and the front desk acts as though they can not do anything and pawn it off on the upper office so not to have to deal with it. Now, I am not sure if this is the case as a Diamond member still because recently my membership was downgraded to Gold but when I was a Diamond member at other Hilton properties, I never had to experience this issue. So that would def be alarming that the customer is now classified by membership type for a hotel to determine whether to charge or not. Also, can something be done about the fact that check-in is 4PM. I asked the front desk why this was and the solution was essentially to check in and pay for an extra day early so that a person can actually have a full day's stay. Oh, and the incidental up-front fee now increased to $100 from $50 in the last few months. The consumer is becoming less appreciated and more like herded cattle
