It took about 20 minutes to get the attention of the clerk who was in the back room, I could hear them laughing. There was a bum hanging out in the parking lot that was disturbing and the clerk wasn't too concerned about him when I mentioned it. The room didn't smell the best. The door wasn't very secure, the deadbolt didn't work, the door didn't shut tight, there was only the little bar that you move over the door to hopefully keep someone out. I had to put a chair and the coffee table in front of the door to feel safe enough to sleep at night. The window wasn't locked when I got there and if I hadn't checked it would have remained unlocked. But the lock wasn't very secure either.
If I hadn't already paid for the room I would have found somewhere else to stay, I couldn't afford to pay for 2 rooms.
One night the cleaning staff hadn't even cleaned the room yet at 7 pm. I heard them go by about 8 pm but I put the sign out to keep them away, I didn't want anyone there at that time of night.
