The required valet service is a serious inconvenience to their able-bodied guests.
I can understand the practical reason that all guests must pay for valet: the garage design is old, has low ceiling, and you can damage your own car and/or other guests' cars by driving in there yourself. If you have a midsize SUV, the power tailgate would hit the ceiling if opened completely. They cannot simply their rebuild their underground garage to have a higher ceiling, so the valet service is required on everyone.
It's a disservice to disallow the guests from simply walking to their cars and getting things in/out of them.
You cannot simply call ahead to valet service, although they have the shortcut button on the room phone. It is poor solution design.
There is a long valet queue during busy check-in and check-out time.
Other aspects of the resort is very good. The overall facility is very clean, and it is warm and comfortable to walk around even in mid-winter. Please fix the valet debacle, and the resort could be much better.
