The location of the property is quite stunning.
The ownership/management is a bit laid back when it comes to service.
The room we had reserved in the river side "cottage" was just big enough to fit a queen size bed but not big enough to open our luggage. Since we were off season (October), and the only ones in the multi-room cottage, we opened our suite cases in the hallway and blocked any passage for others. Not kidding. We could have been upgraded to a room in the main house for a fee declared our host, but declined.
Again, lovely place, lovely horse property, Irish lovely riverside location. Book the main house and be prepared to step back in time for a lovely estate stay.
