It’s a very old building, it’s been renovated recently but you can still see the lack of maintenance, including the stairs (each step has a rusted piece of metal on the edge), the halls floors and the handrails are in bad condition. The breakfast area it’s clean and maintained so that was ok. The lobby is tiny and the furniture there is very old and dirty.
The rooms are recently renovated but at the minimum cost, they didn’t renovate the ceiling which makes it look very old, the chairs are dirty, the bed makes metallic noise (we guessed it had very old springs), it smells like mold, the AC units leak water on the halls so you always walk hoping puddles of water. There are small cockroaches in the rooms and the halls.
I understand that it’s a cheap motel but this is an exaggeration.
The lady at the reception did the minimum possible to help during our stay. The guy helping to clean and get things ready during the breakfast is very fast and kind. One day at about 10:30 pm we called reception to complain about a noisy group of young men on the next room and they immediately went quite so that was helpful.
We paid $320 for our 3 day stay at the beginning of October.
