If your son/daughter is to attend a program or has a need to be in Liverpool University, for proximity to the campus this place is ideal. The accommodation itself is basic, access to shared kitchen is nice in case you want to store something in the fridge or use the Microwave once a while. The quality of bed could be better (IBIS/Etap budget hotels provide better bed despite low rent, for instance). The rooms, though individual with en suite toilet/shower, aren't soundproof - if adjacent rooms are open/shut in unearthly hours, sleep can get disturbed by thuds/bangs of doors shut.
Helpful reception with courteous members who try best to help. Location is also close to central areas of Liverpool with Lime Street station just 12 min walk.
Overall, if access to University buildings is of high importance, look no further. If stay comfort mattered more, exhaust hotel options in similar price/deals, before considering this.
