Admittedly, I was a little nervous to stay after reading some of the reviews about the noise levels, but it wasn't as bad as some other reviews made it out to be. The staff were very helpful and professional. Our room faced the alley way and while we heard some people being loud outside and distant music from near by pubs at night it wasn't anything egregious, and we didn't hear a peep from the restaurant attached to the hotel. However, I can honestly say I was so exhausted at the end of each day I slept right through any outside noise. I even bought noise canceling ear buds, but I didn't need to use them. The hotel is also very centrally located to everything in Dublin. I would recommend looking for pubs outside of the Temple Bar District though as it is very touristy and overpriced. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
