Initially arrived at the hotel before check in and greeted by a lovely friendly staff member who kindly allowed us to store our luggage , came back at check in to a less friendly staff member who checked us in and retrieved our luggage , checked in and found our room to have a broken fridge aswell as being rediculously hot (it was a hot summer day ) the windows don’t open fully for safety and the air con was not working , went down to reception again and joined a cue for about 15 minutes to speak to the man who checked us in , explained that we booked our room with the fridge and air con in mind and neither were working , he just informed me the entire hotels air con was broken and had been for some time before check in , no apologies or friendly mannerism to be seen, I asked again about the fridge and he bluntly said I would have to speak to his manager and told me to join the cue to speak to manager on the desk next to his. I cue again for about 10/15 mins and the manager is a breathe of fresh air , apologises and offers a room on the first floor in the hopes it is cooler , unfortunately this room is smaller but it is cooler and the fridge works , asked for a fan to be brought to our room and was told it will be brought asap , the fan however never turned up and I had to go down again and ask , also coffe machine was not working in this room but thankfully there was a kettle and some coffe sachets , however staff told me there was no more available
