The hotel had the look and feel of an old motel that had been upgraded with nice exterior paint, and upgraded rooms. But the experience of walking along an open corridor to my room, which faced the parking lot, reinforced the motel feel.
Staff was good... room was stocked. But there were some issues... the air conditioning was very noisy. The clock next to my bed was full of USB and power outlets (great!) but the clock itself couldn't tell the time. And I had issues with the safe, where often the buttons wouldn't recognize button presses, so I often had to try several times to enter a code (and had to do it very slowly).
The very bright bathroom light automatically came on, but that's not really want I want in the middle of the night... I'd rather switch on a low brightness light instead, like a nightlight, and not go the auto light route.
