It was evident our room had been previously broken into, there was damage to the door and the door frame. The people at the front desk would rarely answer the phones. When I asked for extra pillows for my mom (we were sharing a room and there were only two very flat pillows) they said “you got two, right?” I said yeah, she said “you only supposed to have two.” And I said okay and when I tried to say “thanks anyway” she had already hung up on me. People were quite loud outside our room all night. They threatened to charge us an extra day if we were late to check out after refusing to answer the phone all morning for us to ask about check out. When we asked if we could just stay another night they told us we’d have to go through the same people we originally booked through because it was out of their hands which didn’t make sense to me since it’s their hotel so why can’t they extend our stay? We decided we were going to extend our stay in Memphis one more day anyway but definitely not with them. Terrible service, rude staff, sketchy area, damaged door, overall horrible experience.
