When I pulled up into the designated guest parking area, my girlfriend and I were immediatly confronted with a beautiful house that had a cozy porch and a stone pathway leading up to it. There was a small pond, and a cute little gazebo out front. When we walked through the gate, we noticed the peacocks around the corner and a goat. The peacocks were absolutely beautiful and obviously well taken care of. There were also dogs that belonged to the owner, sitting on the porch when we came in. Jennifer greeted us and quickly found our rooms for us. The common area was decorated so beautifully, it seemed like something you would see in a grand hotel! We walked through the kitchen to get to our rooms, but there is another door you can go through to access the standard rooms. The rooms were a bit worn, but everything was clean and cozy. This place is VERY pet friendly. Jennifer was so accomodating for our cat, Griffin, and he fit right in with all the other animals on the property.
The breakfast was really good and all the guests were friendly. The entire stay felt nostalgic, almost like I was just spending the night at my grandma's house. I will most definitely be staying here if I pass through Beatty again!
