Kind of a bad night
We arrived in Kokomo on a bitter cold Christmas Eve during a blizzard. The desk clerk was friendly but I was advised that the facility is no longer pet friendly. We were traveling with our small dog. Nevertheless I was told we could stay with the dog for an additional $15+tax. (The booking site said the pet fee was $10/night.) Got into our room which was very dated with old fixtures and stained tile in the bathroom. It could use an upgrade; the carpet and bedspread were old but appeared to be clean enough. There was no channel guide for the TV. The wifi worked but not the ice machine or the pop vending machine(s). My wife couldn't get the access card to open the entry door so she had to walk all the way around the building in the snow in her tennis shoes to get back in. The breakfast was nothing to write home about just cold cereal and some frozen breakfast sandwiches. There was the usual juice and coffee.
I was surprised that a plow did show up to plow the lot even though it was Christmas Eve. This is a large facility so you may have a long trek to and from your room.
