The positives - On arrival the property is beautiful, big picturesque windows to view nature at your doorstep, big mountain views and the stars from bed at night. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the couch you could slouch in all day. The property is in a great position and you can walk easily to the main areas of halls gap.
The nagatives - i must first say I've been to halls gap many times so didn't go this time to be a tourist, i have a terminal illness so booked this villa for the view, comfort and intention to relax.
Some things may seem small but the price paid for the villa i think is top end so theres an expectation of the small things.
The tv reception was very poor and most channels didn't work.
Fire was great for heat but the dial to work it was so close to the fire itself it got so hot you'd burn yourself.
Bathroom needs underfloor heating or a heat sauce as its freezing. The shower looks fancy but there's not enough pressure to operate more than just one showerhead so all the gadgets are pointless and just when you get warm under the showerhead and turn the body jets on the jets spray ice cold water, a warning would have been nice.
There is a convection oven, never used one, not sure what materials can go in it even after googling the instruction guide its still a mystery. The food needing roasting came home.
a non stick frying pan would be useful rather than the electric frying pan that everything sticks to.decent utensils rather than $2 shop plastic
