Would stay right away from this one.
No one there at reception. Which was ok as we were told the day before where to find the key.
As soon as we opened the room we were literally smacked in the face with the smell of mould, after finding black mould over the bathroom blind and woodwork, we attempted to air the place out and go for a drive. Did not help that smell had impregnated everything. Not wanting to stay at this accommodation being asthmatic this could definitely be an issue. After talking to the owner about the issue found her rude and unhelpful. Eventually we managed to get the caretaker to come to the cabin and inspect it himself, he said he was a smoker and may not smell it but agreed it also smelt badly. We also showed him the mouldy blind.
We contacted our booking agent who called the owner, who then denied any issues with the room. End of story, we left, out of pocket and had to find alternate accommodation at 5pm with a young child in tow.
Very disappointed and I will be reporting this business to the hotels association.
Save you money and health give this one a miss!
