Not the right hotel for couples who want quiet.
The hotel is nice but I don't think I will go again, especially on New Year's Eve. The hotel was fully booked. It is a great value for families.. We were in that stage once. But now that our kids are older, we were looking for a quick get-a-way. But the hotel common areas were always packed, including the pool and hot tub. People had their babies in the hot tub, which is a bad idea. People were consuming alcohol at the hot tub, which is another bad idea. There was no place outside our room that wasn't packed. The breakfast was ok. The reception was bad pulled pork, corn chips, and hot dogs. Drinks were offered not pretty water down. There were dogs barking all the time in people's rooms.
I will say that the staff handled everything very well. And despite the barking dogs, we could not hear them in our room. And that says a lot about the quality of the hotel. I suppose, one day I will have grandkids and that will be a great hotel to stay in with them. But for now, it's just not the right hotel for a couples that want a little getaway.
