My wife and I stayed at Zaguan on 16 and 17 May, and we had a very distasteful stay.
On 16 May, we were lodged in Room 302. The toilet did not work at all and my wife had in the afternoon to go to the restaurant downstairs (which was closed at that time of the day but that your staff could open). On returning to our room at 10.20pm, the toilet was still not repaired and we were moved to Room 202.
In the morning, we were woken up by a horrible stench coming from the toilets and probably due to the renovation works that were being conducted in the hotel. We were nevertheless willing to stay in the same room for our second night.
However, when going out in the morning, we were rudely advised at the reception that we were again to change room as the 202 was to be renovated the same day and that if we were not accepting our baggage would just be moved to another room. After a solid and fruitless discussion with a female staff, we had to just accept to again move to another room, number 102. To our dismay, this was a room with 2 single beds. We had no choice but to accept even though our booking was very clearly made through Espedia for a double room with a large bed (con cama de matrimonio).
In the late evening, another staff, Luis, who had been correct and apologetic all the time, told us that we could move to a double room with cama de matrimonio; it was just again too late and frankly speaking we had more than enough of changing rooms.
