The hotel receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful upon our arrival, providing blunt and dismissive answers. When we inquired about breakfast, she curtly informed us that none was available, even for an additional charge, as the hotel was apparently in the process of shutting down and operating with minimal services. We requested a kettle, but this was also declined.
The room lacked basic amenities such as bathroom items (e.g., toothbrush, shaving kit), an iron, or a fridge. For the price we paid, the experience felt subpar and disappointing. While the building itself boasts a lot of character and the location is undeniably picturesque, these were the only redeeming qualities of our stay.
