We rented for 1 night, to attend a baptism nearby. The rooms are in a separate block next to the main building in which the restaurant and lobby is located; you will have to pass a windy and open area to get to the annex. The annex itself is a bare bones corridor with rooms on both sides, slightly remnant of a military barracks but with carpet. The rooms are equally bare bones and equipped with a closet, a desk, a TV, and a place to put your suitcase. Strangely, the room had one of those remote-controlled color LED lights behind the bed stand, allowing to change to all sorts of colors and implicitly suggesting the hotel is used for romantic getaways. The bathroom consisted of a bathtub with shower, wash basin with mirror, and a toilet. The toilet flush came of the wall when used, and the amenities are not at the level of a 4-star hotel. The carpet in the bed room had big stains and the few was on the parking lot. It was cold when we came in and during two days the heater was hardly able to get the temperature up to a normal 20 degrees Celsius. The breakfast is exorbitantly priced (17 euros per person) while the parking is gated; to get out you need to obtain a code from the reception. Upon checking out, we found that parking was not free (9,50 euro per day). Overall, this hotel is okay when you're traveling through and need a bed nearby Lanaken or Maastricht. It is rather run down and certainly not a 4-star hotel at the level of, say, a 4-star Crown Plaza.
