The hotel is tastefully decorated, with little airplane themes everywhere. It’s well done! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms, while a bit dark, are comfortable. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap, which is great. I failed to get decent sleep as the room was warm, but that was likely in my control. The restaurant food was pretty good and reasonably priced. My primary complaints were: (1) only 1 out of 3 elevators were operational, (2) the toilet needed to rest for a long time between flushes, (3) the sink faucet needs some extra cleaning as there are a lot of mineral deposits that have built up on the outside, and (4) getting around the Heathrow terminals is much more complicated than expected. Most options to get from the hotel to LHR are not free, despite what various websites say, which is a bit of a surprise since you’re staying at Heathrow!
