I love this place. Always have friendly staff and the food at the rooftop restaurant is great, and the drinks at the coffee bar are good. Whenever in Nashville, this is where we are. It’s clean, consistently a good experience.
Recently the hotel, Maybe the company as a whole made changes to their valet parking. In the past, valet parking was always included in the room charge. It was a no fuss, no mess or worry type of situation. Unfortunately this time that was not the case. Valet parking is a separate payment through the parking company “PMC”. The valet drivers are incredibly nice. Booking for my recent trip I was unaware of these changes. Overnight parking is around $50 a night which is something I did not plan for since it had always been included in my room cost. I also did not see any changes in the rate for my room versus the last time I stayed here and the parking was included. This alone is very disappointing to me. This is my favorite hotel to sleep over whenever in town for concerts or a small trip out. I have another trip I am planning to Nashville in the winter. Due to these parking changes I intend to look towards other hotels. This change to me does not benefit the consumer in anyway that I can tell. I wouldn’t mind if my room rate were less due to the changes, but they weren’t.
It doesn’t help that with their new system, they lost my car upon checkout and almost charged me for an additional night.
Great hotel. Terrible parking system now.
