"Staff were excellent and the food was varied and tasty (esp breakfast) - the Bar is plentiful and self serve beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee is good. Room was clean, and the cleaning teams did a good job. overall the hotel is a little tired and dated, with some peeling paint and rough around the edges. I would recommend this as a good budget holiday hotel. "

"The room was clean and really spacious. And massive bathroom and balcony. And the sea view was nice (you could actually see the dunes also). The hotel premises was really nice with different areas to spend time. The breakfast was good with lots of options. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was good with nice and quiet neighbourhood and restaurants and shops just around corner. The beach promenade and bus to Las Palmas also just a few minutes away. "

"Loved it. Pictures are the same as on website.spacious rooms. Staff very helpful. Clean overall. Entertainment every night. Had a spa afternoon at the nother labranda marieta with discount. Staff there are lovely too. We did all inclusive - loved the selection of food and drinks. Cocktails shots etc.. Market is local, pleanty shops ans bars around the hotels. Sandy beach 5 mins walk. €3.50 by bus 66 or 90 from airport, only 30 mins, beautiful scenary whilst on bus of the blue sea and sand....

"The house was perfect. 5 minutes walk to the restaurants one way and 7 minutes the other way. Seriously! Less than 1 minute from the beach. The staff were nice and polite. The place quiet and peaceful. We truly had a fabulous time. "

"Amazing 10 day stay at Axel Beach, as it always is. Aythomi super accommodating to us on arrival, room super clean, cleaning staff are amazing! Shout out to the two guys serving at the pool bar, really great facilities and you really can whatever holiday you want here, had chance to be sociable, but also have some alone time. "We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the beautiful Maspalomas Dunes. From our room we had a gorgeous view overlooking the pool, the green palm trees, the sweeping sand dunes and the sea in the distance. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. All the staff were lovely and polite, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The RIU Party on Friday was definitely the highlight—so much fun and absolutely not to...

"The hotel is both imposing and stunning, but sits well amidst beautifully landscaped pools and tropical gardens of swaying palms and parrots in the trees. Best location, close to lots of shopping/restaurants and the beach and dunes. The Unique Club breakfasts were fantastic, but overall the food offering is rather average, but the prices are fairly reasonable for a hotel of this class. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful."
