Hotels in Downtown Anchorage

"The place was fine for an overnight stay at the airport. The airport shuttle was a good feature. The place was way overpriced for what it offered, but I guess that is Anchorage."

"Room was comfortable and clean. Loved the location -- right by the train station and easy access to lots in town. Good hot breakfast every morning."

"I would book here again. The hotel is a tad dated, but the staff are great. The resturant has great food. The view is awesome. Really much better stay than the chain hotels. I will book here the next time I come to Anchorage."

"This is a convenient place to stay when flying out of Anchorage. The breakfast is good and rooms quiet."

"Staff was awesome, The distance to the lobby was a trek, but overall it is a very distinct and attractive place to stay for a short time. The rooms are clean, stocked and comfortable!"

"Good location. Clean. Quite. I recommend."

"Very convenient for being right next to the airport and a good place if your time in Alaska is short. The surrounding area is quiet but wish there were more things around that’s walkable distance for those who don’t have car rentals"

"Great mid-town location with ample parking. Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable."

"I am so glad I cancelled our other hotel and stayed here. The room was great, the staff was super accommodating, we were close to a lot of stuff, and there was free parking. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Anchorage."

"The room and kitchen area were very clean and comfortable. We would stay there again"

"An amazing property with an excellent staff"

"Very good stay of such lake view hotel. Worth 200$ of a stay in Anchorage. Spacious and close to places of interest."

"Loved the hotel and staff was super friendly and helpful. Local area around has lots of homeless but that’s expected in the downtown area"

"The staff is very friendly and easy going. The hotel is under renovation and definitely shows the age."

"I guess I will leave a review that I wish I had seen before staying, the door doesn’t lock until you push the button on the deadbolt (not told to us when we checked in but somewhat obvious when you look at the door). I think this is a place that police would avoid because they know they would have to arrest people that stay there. The water was out when we woke up for a couple hours, which was more or less the cherry on top of the whole place. If you’re looking for cheap, then sure. Safe? Idk."

"Perfect stay for an overnight stop in Anchorage which included airport collection and delivery to the rail depot for our 6.45 train to Seward. Room was clean and comfy and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. They even had a Chinese restaurant on site which we did not know about.would stay agsin if in Anchorage "

"We stayed at the La Quinta Anchorage for one night before heading out for an Alaska Cruise. It was a great place to stay. It was close to the airport and not far from Downtown Anchorage. The hotel shuttle was great and the front desk staff was so nice and accommodating. They helped us with restaurant recommendations and arranging the shuttle to the Railroad Station for our trip to the cruise port. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We were also close to a Walmart and when my daughter...

"Older hotel but clean and staff was helpful and polite. Location was great and walking distance to whatever you need. Coffee/water available in the morning. I would stay there again"
