We liked the automated feature of the door locks however this was the only hotel that did not let us checkin a little early ($30 fee). Staff was friendly. It’s a cute/small boutique hotel, and it was a good location downtown. Onsite parking was easy. The room could use some maintenance and dusting. We had a king room. Bathroom was very small and the tub glass door made it even smaller (should have a shower curtain instead and handle was coming off). Hand towel holder was also loose. Bathroom fan was very noisy. Luckily it was on a separate switch. No A/C in the room (overhead and portable fan), so we had to leave the window open all the time. Lots of street noise since it’s downtown. In the winter it might be ok, but we won’t stay here again because the room was too warm and we had to keep closing the curtains since there were apartments next door that could look in.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Hightide cafe in lobby with breakfast and lunch options. I would definitely stay here again. There are a few steps to navigate to checkin and get to rooms. Within walking distance to lots of food, shopping and city buses.
