I had an overall okay experience. The hotel was very clean, which I appreciated.
The property is a converted office building, although it markets itself as a boutique hotel, and the rooms reflect that. My room didn’t have exterior windows, only windows facing the hallway, which impacted privacy. The rooms are somewhat dated, the property quite loud, despite being adult-only and guests being mindful about making any noise in the hallway, and the bathroom lacked a door. I would definitely invest time reviewing the layout of the guest floor, as I think the location of the room you book may impact the experience you have staying here.
At nearly $150 per night during the off season, it didn’t feel like the level of hotel I would expect at that price point.
It worked fine as a one-night stop while traveling through, but if you’re looking for a more traditional Ouray experience, this may not be the best fit.
