The apartment I stayed in was beautifully renovated, very clean, and very comfortable. The shower was a little larger than any of the others I used on this trip. There were good quality appliances for making coffee and tea. The locatIon is right in the center of the old town.
Be aware that the apartments are on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevator.
My only concern while I was there has to do with the building the apartments are in. The entrance to the building is through a metal door that opens into the building. On the first night, when I came back to the apartment I had trouble opening the door and couldn't figure out what was wrong until one of the waiters from the adjacent restaurant showed me. The bottom part of the door handle had broken free from the door, and when it was stuck at an angle, it latched the door so it couldn't be opened. I had to straighten the handle to get in. But if I had been on the inside trying to get out, I would have been locked in until someone outside straightened the handle. If there was a fire in the building it would be a death trap. That handle should have been repaired immediately!
