The Sunset Hotel is aptly named. The view from my room, and from the front of the motel, was a lovely valley view, with a fabulous sunset. The location is lovely, just at the west end of the town, and an easy walk to the historic district. The staff were all kind and efficient. A lovely place!

The room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Very convenient to AB 2, which is what we wanted on our drive from Calgary to Glacier National Park in Montana. The owner is personable and helpful.

When you pull up at the office you feel like you are transported i to the past. But the woman at the desk was great. The rooms were clean, large and a/c worked perfectly. Dont judge a book by its cover.

Place was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Owners were not friendly and didn’t let us know about the breakfast in the morning or how to check out etc. They need to be more communicative. WiFi was terrible and didn’t work and there were issues with the TV not working. Technology issues happen though. It was decent for the night on your way through to your destination and the price was reasonable for what you got. Even though we didn’t get everything we paid for due to the owners lack of what seemed to be lack of customer interest.
