This is what we wanted for a one-night rest on our way home from a family trip: clean, comfortable, nothing fancy, fair price.
The hotel appears to double as a U-haul trailer rental, and first appearances are disappointing. It’s crammed in between a drive-up fast food place and an all night gas station. The lobby is basic, as are the rooms: nice and clean but worn down.
Because of the location, ask for a room away from the street side. This seems to be diesel pickup country and they were rolling coal all night - I still slept fine.
The town is tired and old. There is a great little Indian restaurant across the street, and very good coffee two blocks away.
I’d stay again.
