Pear Tree Cottage.
Business traveller...plenty of parking, plenty of space to work, comfortable double bed, wifi is good, shower is good, hot water plentiful but no shower gel's or shampoo provided. The towels that are provided are older than me and are in a size more akin to hand towel than bath towel. So pack your toiletries and towel before you arrive. The property is in a lovely rural location and can feel isolated, so as there is no access to food on / near site either come prepared or get ready for a drive.
As a self catering holiday let, I'd dare say again; plenty of parking, plenty of space, good shower, comfy bed, good wifi........BUT.....I would add no welcome basket upon arrival. There are no shops nearby (that I saw) so take with you whatever you think you'll need and this includes tea, coffee, milk and sugar! Entering the lounge / kitchen I found a packet of biscuits (thank you very much) and a box of six coffee sachet things that you pour into a mug and add hot water....there was no milk - fresh or UHT, no sugar - I assume the gifts had been left by the owner as a welcome but equally could have been left by the last guest much like the random assortment of half used sauces in one cupboard. Being very fussy, there are plates, cups and mugs etc but nothing matches and it all feels old and unloved.
Great location for a romantic break or to disconnect. It's a good facility, not bad, not exceptional, just.....good.
Good value but wouldn't stay again.
