Great motel apartment in Esperance

Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the kitchenette was very good. There was a guest laundry and parking on site The motel was within a few minutes’ walk from shops, dining and the waterfront. The manager was super friendly and helpful.

For a budget motel in a remote town to charge rates comparable to a 5-star hotel in Perth, I expected a much higher standard of service and comfort. • Unreasonable Extra Charges: The owner charged an additional $50 per night per child, despite the fact that our children did not consume extra resources or add any cost to the room. This felt like a blatant overcharge, especially given the base rate was already quite steep. • Significant Noise Issues: The motel is located right next to a main road and a roundabout. The noise at night is constant and incredibly annoying; every time a ute or car passes by and speeds up, it echoes through the room, making it very difficult to get a restful night's sleep. • Poor Wi-Fi: The internet speed is extremely slow. It was impossible to stream video or handle basic tasks, which is unacceptable in this price bracket.

We stayed here for one night on our way across the country. Everything about our stay was fabulous. The location is central to Esperance with quick access to the beach road and most places to eat. The apartment was clean, had comfortable beds, all the amenities we needed and easy parking. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
