This a great period motel with a very comfortable lounge as its lobby that turns into a bar in the evening and two outdoor patios. It is right on Route 66, but our room, a little back was perfectly quiet. Our room was clearly newly renovated but with great character. It's in a nice neighborhood that leads in a couple of blocks to the huge Rio Grande river park. Old Town is a couple of blocks away.

This place is wonderful! Bartender was awesome and he made the best drinks. Check in and out was easy as well right at lobby bar area. The lounge they have with a kitchen and TV area and patio and free laundry was awesome addition if you need that. I think this motel deserves to be higher than two stars! It seems to be pretty updated. The room was very cute, and the bathroom was clean. The only thing was that the shower was a little tricky to figure out and the doors do not fully shut so it was difficult to not get water all over the bathroom floor. Check in was very easy, and it was super nice that they provided a complimentary round of drinks! A plus that the cocktails were very good. Super convenient location with Old Town just a short walk away, and a bunch of other food options and attractions near by. Great amenities, including laundry! Great stay over all!
