I have booked with Accra Luxury Apartments several times in the past, so this experience was disappointing. I had to cancel a reservation about two hours after booking and was informed that I would not receive any refund due to their cancellation policy. Despite explaining my situation and requesting some flexibility as a returning customer, no consideration was given. I eventually had to transfer the booking to someone else just to recover my money. I understand policies, but I believe good customer service also involves empathy and reasonable discretion, especially with loyal clients.
It was really frustrating especially since i have been a loyal customer. Two hours’ notice after booking is still reasonable in many cases, and the fact that I had to resell the booking myself just to recover my money is not okay. Anyone would be upset.
I’m very disappointed. supporting a business consistently, i expect some flexibility or goodwill, not a rigid response with no empathy.
