10/10
I stumbled upon this property while in search of a place with some special touch. I initially wanted to stay at The Place Firenze since it was the place where my wife and I stayed for our honeymoon two decades ago. But I gotta tell you, this is one of the best places to stay in Florence.
It is located slightly off the duomo area(about 25 min of walking distance) where you see local people and not so many tourists. It worked out as our base camp where we can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the local main attractions.
Property itself is stunning. I am not sure if you can find something this special to stay anywhere in Italy. With stunning antique building structure charms with modern technology for effortless comfort. It displays original artworks from oil paintings to printed archives including many of its frames from period sensitive antique remakes and a little detail features such as door handles and knobs. If you love the aesthetics of Restoration Hardware, this is the real authentic deal, not some style copy of RH. You can see and feel the history behind these pieces.
Because it is small boutique hotel, their attention to client is more genuine and attentive. Even before we began our travel, they sent a brief survey of what we are looking for in our stay in Florence. Once I completed, they designed specific daily arrangements to follow if we wanted to.
I would like to thank Eric for curating our stay and helping us enjoy our time to the fullest.
