We had reserved this hotel because we wanted to have air conditioning, as in June, it can get very hot in London. However, the airconditioning devices were broken (in several rooms), and the staff told us that they would be fixed in 8 days. (That is, after our stay.) This was a big disappointment, as the heat wave began during our stay...
We did get a fan, though. The windows did not open much (probably for security reasons), which did not help during the nights..
There were no luggage racks, although to avoid bedbugs, it is generally recommended not to store luggage on the floor. I got some insect bites, not entire sure if they were from bedbugs.
As for the positives: The staff were very helpful and kind, and breakfast was excellent. Rooms and bathrooms were overall nice and clean, and beds were comfortable. Excellent location! Wonderful cute little backyard garden. (If you want to avoid traffic noise, if you want to keep windows open during the night, ask for a room on the garden side.)
With functioning airconditioning, I would have given much higher ratings. Not sure why it was not possible to fix as soon as possible. Perhaps the devices were a bit outdated (and not cleaned from the inside) too..
