Good hotel
The Golden Seagull Hotel was a bit of a maze to find when we took a Grab. There were no clear signs inside the subdivision, which made it difficult to locate.
The service was good, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the breakfast wasn’t great — the food was cold, and there weren’t many options.
The rooms were extremely spacious, which we loved, and the washrooms were massive and clean. Unfortunately, what shocked us the most was finding a red stain on one of my brother’s bedsheets. It looked old and was quite disgusting and unacceptable. I immediately called the front desk to request cleaning service. The staff responded quickly, and the lady changed the sheets right away.
Overall, the hotel was GOOD — the staff were kind, the rooms were nice, and they offer an airport shuttle, which was very convenient.
However, cleanliness and food quality definitely need improvement.
