Nice hotel, clean and quaint. The whole town is amazing, the hotel is in their new downtown but the old downtown is just a quick bus ride away. I recommend their restaurant and breakfast buffet, all delicious food!

It is a short taxi ride from the Kiruna airport to the Scandia Kiruna Hotel. Once there, I was delighted to find that it was a pleasant walk to a number of shops...groceries, clothing, personal care, etc. The facility, itself, is very clean. The staff is welcoming. Very nice stay!

The hotel is awesome. Rooms 712 and 134 were very good. Heated bathroom floors, a BIG dining area and friendly staff. For European standards, the rooms were huge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great hotel. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. The breakfast is amazing. We had the evening buffet the first day, and that was really good. The skybar is cool, but a little upgrade for snacks and small courses could be good. Sauna is a must in the afternoon.

It was an excellent hotel for our stay in Kiruna. We were really excited to check out sky bar but unfortunately it was closed for an event during our stay without notice so that was disappointing. They have a beautiful gym so don’t forget your workout gear!

This hotel is located in the new centre of Kiruna. Currently there are a few shops but not much else in the vicinity. This will change as the area is developed.

Not as cozy as it looks

The best thing about the hotel was the room that was nice and clean. The rest of the hotel was a bit disappointing. From looking at the pictures, I was looking forward to chilling in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate in the afternoon or starting the day in the sauna. The reality is that the lobby is quite busy with people checking in all the time. Moreover, there is no fire in the fireplace, and the bar was out of cream and hot chocolate. The sauna was beautiful, but doesn’t open until 15.00 and is gender separated. Nice view from the skybar, but the vibe is quite tacky from drinks to selection of pop remixes.

The Guesthouse was extremely comfortable and ideally situated for the Northern Lights photography that was the main reason for our visit. Our grateful thanks go to Lukus and Keke at the reception area who worked so hard to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Mukava majoitus ennen ja jälkee vaelluksen

Moderni hotelli tarjoisi neljälle vaeltajalle mukavan huoneen ja hyvän aamiaisen. Ravintolan ruokatarjoilu oli myös hyvä, toisena päivänä puffet ja toisena a la carte. Ylimmän kerroksen sky bar tarjosi hienot näkymä ympäristöön samoin kuin kerrosta alempi sauna.

Fint hotel men mer att önska gällande service…

Fint nybyggt hotel mitt i nya Kiruna. Dock finns lite att jobba på gällande service. Incheckning först kl 16. Vi kom efter 14 och skulle behövt betala 200kr extra för att få tillgång till rummet trots att det var färdigt. Vi valde att vänta med barn, upplevs av oss och andra väntande som något ”snålt”. Inget vatten i reception/väntarea, behållare fanns men ingen fyllde på. Bastu i relax kall när relax öppnade, tips till hotellet - ställ timern 30 min innan det ska öppna så slipper besökare frysa i bastun. Inga glas/muggar i relaxen. Balkongdörr ut till fin terass var låst, ingen kom och öppnade. Vi kanske hade en dålig start men upplevde personalen något ointresserade av service.

Hotellet er nytt og fint. Frokosten var meget god. Rommet hadde to enkeltsenger uten klemmer for å holde dem sammen. Rommet bør ha disse klemmene liggende for de som ønsker å gjøre to enkeltsenger til en felles seng

En ren fornøyelse

Nytt hotell, alt i topp stand. Middag i restauranten kun som buffet med fast meny. Den bar ar preg av å bli stående gjennom ettermiddag og kveld og ingen stor kulinarisk opplevelse. Bra frokost, og ellers alt vel
