Stayed at Lure hotel for two nights and overall pleasant stay. The room was spacious, shower generous and enjoyed use of the indoor pool area which had enough loungers for number of guests and a steam room - very relaxing. Hotel felt modern and clean. Staff were very pleasant and great service.
Breakfast was also nice with a continental ‘3 tier’ plates of pasteries/ muffins on top, meats/cheese/rolls on middle and fruit on the bottom. This was like a shared starter then getting to pick from the hot food which was good with omelets, English breakfast, muesli or eggs Benedict/royale options. Day one 3-tier option given to us had meats and cheeses we didn’t really like so ordered a full English breakfast the next day… only to have options we did like day two (Brie with ham and a beef meet) and couldn’t manage it all! Nice choices though and tip to say if you don’t like certain meats or cheeses (eg cheese with fruit seems popular which we don’t eat, and another cheese had truffle in it which unlike most people I can’t stand)
Only draw back was for us the bed was too hard and the modern light switches are all led lights and don’t switch off - with 4 sockets across the room; these made the room quite bright at night even when we took the key card out to see if they would switch off - for us therefore wasn’t the best nights sleep and would have struggled if staying for more nights and would have mentioned it. Also only 1 hook in the bathroom for all used towels and robes.
