It was nice that, having arrived an hour before the formal check-in time, we were able to go straight to the room - that meant we were able to get to the beach much more easily - something that was especially useful given that the next day was rained out. Otherwise the room was fine - functional, neat and tidy without being a wow room - but that wasn't what we were looking for - it's not the sort of room you'd want to spend hours in (though we did have a drink one night and that went well) but the location of the hotel is its greatest selling point.
