An oasis on the west coast
We loved this hotel which consists of self catering villas in a beautiful garden with a nice pool. There is a restaurant which is fine although we only ate there once as there are so many good eateries in easy reach. The supermarket is a walk away so you could easily just cook at home. We thought the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only downside is the narrow beach with little room for sunbeds although this doesn't really matter when there are so many amazing beaches nearby eg at Heron Bay House - a 10 min walk. It would be ideal for parents with babies as you can wheel buggies into Holetown and all restaurants are child friendly. Also the hotel will arrange someone to cook for you if you want. We hired a car which meant we could look around the island but it would have been fine to stay put as there's enough to do in Holetown.
Adjacent to the hotel is one of the historic churches of Barbados which is really beautiful and we could hear the wonderful singing during the services and choir practice!
