I travel frequently for work and have stayed in countless hotels, but this was hands down the worst guest experience I’ve ever had.
From the outset, the service was shockingly poor. Staff were consistently rude, unhelpful, and dismissive.
My infant was often woken up in the mornings because the housekeeping staff would be shouting and laughing in the corridors could be heard inside the rooms loudly through closed doors.
I was also double charged for breakfast (once by the hotel and once via Expedia) and despite multiple daily followups, neither party is taking responsibility. Both continue to blame each other, and I have yet to receive a resolution or refund.
What truly crossed the line, however, was the behavior of the hotel’s security guard. While waiting to load heavy luggage into a cab (with my infant asleep in my arms) we politely asked him for the gate to be opened for easier access. Not only did he refuse, but he also refused to inform the cab driver that he would not open the gate for him and that he has to use another route and gate. When we pointed out that it was rude of him not to inform the drivers this, he began swearing at my elderly mother. His behaviour was aggressive, disrespectful and completely unacceptable!!
This hotel is absolutely undeserving of its four star rating. The attitude of the staff, the lack of accountability, and the complete disregard for guest comfort make it a place I would never recommend to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
